Up and coming songwriter Frances may be managed by the same folks as Disclosure, but her sprawling, romantic ballads couldn't be further from the Lawrence brothers' bubbly pop-house. If anything, Frances' debut proper, 'Grow', holds more in common with the decidedly more clean-cut catchiness of Rae Morris' recent, less folksy work. 'Grow' is the title track off her forthcoming debut EP on the ever reliable Communion, and it's the first real taste of those belt-it-from-the-rooftops vocal chords. - DC
